Elite League All Star Game 2009

The Elite League's inaugural All Star game was completed earlier this evening with the final score 12-10 in favour of the Southern All Stars.

The Stingrays participants in the game had good nights as Jeff Glowa and Slava Koulikov notched goals for the Southern All Stars whilst Steve Slonina added an assist. Curtis Cruickshank iced between the pipes for half of the game for the victorious South whilst Lee Mitchell played but failed to record a point.

The games most notable performances came from the Belfast Giant and Northern All Star Paul Deniset, who scored two goals and three assists, whilst Nottingham player/coach Corey Neilson scored two goals and two assists for the South.
